A childhood in seven books
Nearly eleven years ago, a little girl hung on her sister's arm, begging to be included in her game. Eventually one of her friends humoured me with the memorable role of "the old woman who lives in the chamber of secrets." It's not a great start to a relationship, but it was a beginning.
